While following the Amgen Tour of California this past May I was able to see many of my favorite cyclists…those whom I root for avidly during all the televised bike tours.
This photo is from the start of Stage 8 in Thousand Oaks, CA. On the start line you can see the tour GC Bradley Wiggins in yellow, Peter Sagan in green and Mark Cavendish…to name three of my favs. Mark ended up winning the stage, Bradley won overall and Peter took green. Mark is my all-time favorite cyclist so watching it live and in person was just absolutely incredible.
Here’s to cycling and what’s to come in the Tour de France! Cheers, Shannon
Yesterday I enjoyed a nice relaxing day in Golden Gate Park with two buddies. When I walked into the Japanese Tea Garden I was transported…the garden is so peaceful allowing me and my camera a little zen-like retreat from our recent city living. It was awesome.
This is the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge from the Marin Headlands side. As I stood here the fog began to roll in…and it comes in quickly over the bridge in the evening. I enjoy watching the fog. It acts like a gentle blanket often tucking in the city at night.
Somedays I enjoy taking a drive out to cowboy country. The farmlands out in the sierra nevadas are just absolutely beautiful…and serene. For this photo I thought I’d take a snapshot of some of my favorite jagged rocks =) and play with the processing a bit! Cheers!
